The Golden Compass: Undermining the Faith through Film

Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

 

There are many movies that are released every year, many of them with themes and content that are contrary to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus. A few of these movies contain direct attacks on God, the Church, Christianity and religion in general.

 

Currently one of these films which is based on a book written for children has been released. "The Golden Compass" is being promoted as a film in the same genre as "The Lord of the Rings" series and the "Harry Potter" movies. Nothing could be further from the truth.
