Third Hour (Mid-morning Prayer)

Every week, we pray the hours as a community before Liturgy. Come in and pray with us! There are booklets in the Narthex with the Third Hour prayers. If you or your children wish to say your pre-Communion prayers or to light candles or reverence the ikons, please feel free to do so during this time. The prayers of preparation for the Divine Liturgy with the pre-Communion prayers are located in the front of the green Liturgy books. The candles are located on the table along the south wall of the Narthex (to your right), the candle stands are located in front of the ikonostas. The ikons around the church including on the ikonostas (the ikon screen), on the tetrapod (the small table in the center aisle), or on the walls are all for venerating and praying with. Please make yourself at home and ask for any assistance you need.
